Delivery Information

 

Delivering goods on a pallet is very different from any other type of delivery you may receive such as parcels or packages. It involves the use of more specialist tools and equipment that can carry some risk to our delivery drivers and your order.

When your pallet arrives our trained delivery drivers will safely unload the pallet to a curbside location. It will be at the driver’s discretion to determine the safest location to leave your pallet and they will always do their best to be as accommodating as possible.

Before ordering make sure the delivery location is suitable and please advise us on any restrictions on parking such as double yellow lines or weight limits nearby.

We can only deliver on solid flat services such as tarmac or concrete to facilitate safe tail lift and pump truck operation.

It is unsafe for the driver to offload if the vehicle is on an incline and the driver will not be able to move across or leave the pallet on gravel, grass or soft ground. Please ensure that someone is available to inspect and sign for the pallet on delivery.

If a delivery cannot be made due to the delivery location being unsuitable a redelivery fee may be charged.

Wherever possible, we will make deliveries using our own fleet of vehicles. We have a range of different sized lorries , with a variety off offload options, enabling us to be as accommodating as possible.

Delivery Options

Local Delivery 

Our local delivery option can be chosen for orders across our entire product range, when the delivery postcode is within a 40 mile radius of RG18 9LY.

These deliveries are very likely to be made by us, using our own fleet of vehicles. We have a range of different sized lorries , with a variety off offload options, enabling us to be as accommodating as possible.

 

UK Delivery 

Our UK delivery service allows us to ship our products across the whole of the UK, using our trusted pallet partners. This service enables us to provide a 2 hour delivery window on the day of your delivery. For more information on this delivery service, please refer to the Delivery Information section at the top of the page.

Not all products are eligible for this delivery service. Products from our Decking & Cladding and Western Red Cedar collections, that require delivery to a postcode outside of our “local delivery” catchment area will need to be shipped using an alternative method. Collection Information

 

Collections can be made from our site at Rookery Farm, Curridge, RG18 9LY,  subject to the following conditions.

If you wish to collect an order from us the order must be placed 48hrs advance so we have time to pick and pack it for you. If you wish to collect an order sooner please contact us to see if it’s possible.

All collections  must be made with a suitable vehicle for the products collected. Our products vary from 1 metre to 3.6 metres long and each pallet can weigh up to 1200kg. Therefore it is essential that before arranging a collection from us you check that your vehicle can take the size and weight of the products you order.

All collections will be loaded into the vehicle using a forklift and the products will be on a pallet. Therefore, it is not possible to make collections in cars. Collections must be made using vans, tipper vans, pickups or HGVs.


Returns Policy

 

At Nigel Belcher Stone Paving, we aim to ensure your experience with us is simple and informed. We provide a “split pack” service at no extra cost, to allow you to order exact quantities for your project across our whole product range. However, there may be occasions where you need to return all or part of your order. The below Q&A will guide you through this process in detail.

 

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you have the right to cancel your order up to 28 days from receiving the material.

If the order is cancelled before the order has been dispatched, a full refund will be given. It’s worth noting that most orders will be dispatched either the day the order is placed, or by the following day. If the order is cancelled after the order has been dispatched, the customer is responsible for returning the goods to us at their expense.

If we are required to arrange the collection, a fee of £100 per pallet could be charged depending on delivery postcode.

 

Can I return surplus materials?

Yes, you are able to return surplus materials to us for a refund up to 28 days from the delivery date.

It’s the customers responsibly to return the items to us. If we are asked to collect the materials, a fee of £100 per pallet could be charged depending on delivery postcode.

All returned items must be clean and in original packaging where appropriate. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from any refund.

 

When will I receive my refund?

All refunds will be made within 1 week of receiving the returned items. Our team will check over the return and be in contact to arrange the refund. Please note refunds can take up to 1 week to reach your account.

 

What if my order contains damaged material?

All of our products are packaged to the highest standard to avoid damages. However with many products arriving from overseas, occasional damages can happen from time to time.

Please let us know as soon as possible if this is the case with part of your order. If additional material is required, we will send this out for you FOC. If you do not require additional material, a refund will be made in full at the price paid on order.

 

Criteria for a successful collection from a customer’s address

  • Goods must be left in the same condition as when they were delivered, in original packaging.
  • Pallet packaging must left intact, as when the delivery was made
  • Pallets must be collected from the same position as where they were delivered, this is to ensure they can be collected safely and efficiently by the courier.

 


Whilst this returns information will cover the majority of our products, there are some exemptions. Please see below details for specific product types

 

Stone Paving

Including all natural stone and porcelain paving collections

(The vast majority of paving orders will be delivered on our own fleet of vehicles, where an accurate delivery slot can be given. However, depending on delivery postcode,  some orders will be delivered by our chosen couriers, where a 2 hour delivery window can be obtained on the day of delivery )

Returns AcceptedYes, within 28 days of delivery
Restocking Fee20% will be deducted from refunded amount

Collection Option

Yes, a charge of up to £100 per pallet may apply depending on delivery postcode

 

 

Steps & Copings

Including all products within our step and copings collection

(The vast majority of Steps & Copings orders will be delivered using our own fleet of vehicles, where an accurate delivery slot can be given. However, depending on delivery postcode,  some orders will be delivered by our chosen couriers, where a 2 hour delivery window can be obtained on the day of delivery )

Returns AcceptedYes, within 28 days of delivery
Restocking Fee20% will be deducted from refunded amount
Collection OptionYes, a charge of up to £100 per pallet may apply depending on delivery postcode

 

 

Decking & Cladding

Including all Millboard Decking & Cladding products

(All orders of Millboard Decking & Cladding will be delivered using our own fleet of vehicles, where an accurate delivery slot can be given)

Returns AcceptedYes, within 28 days of delivery
Restocking Fee20% will be deducted from refunded amount
Collection OptionNo, due to many of these products being over 3m long,  products must be returned by the customer

 

 

Western Red Cedar

Including all western red cedar products

(All orders of Western Red Cedar will be delivered using our own fleet of vehicles, where an accurate delivery slot can be given)

Returns AcceptedNo, returns are not accepted due to the nature of this material

 

 

Bespoke Items

Including all bespoke orders such as bullnosing, cutting, profiling and pre sealing

(The vast majority of bespoke orders will be delivered on our own fleet of vehicles, where an accurate delivery slot can be given. However, depending on delivery postcode,  some orders will be delivered by our chosen couriers, where a 2 hour delivery window can be obtained on the day of delivery )

Returns AcceptedNo, these orders are produced bespoke to customer specifications. Due to this, returns will not be accepted.
